
This is an advanced course in the BSc Entrepreneurship Honors Degree. The course aims at describing the sustainable approaches and circular systems that ensures long-term success of entrepnreneurial ventures. Since the social and environmental concerns are rising ever than before when comes to the modern business environment, this course will mainly identify the emerging trends in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship, develops innovative sustainable entrepreneurial solutions while addressing the ethical and CSR aspects of conducting business activities for both new startups and existing business organizations.

The general objective of this course is to enhance the research competencies of the students through conducting closely guided independent research studies. By becoming familiar with the research process discussed in ENT 3377– Research Methods in Entrepreneurship course students should be more confident and competent in doing their own research on their selected theme in the entrepreneurship research domain. A supervisor will be appointed to each student to maintain one-to-one contacts and closely supervise their individual research studies.
This independent study will help to learn how research tools and techniques of a variety of research methodologies as well as the basic skills in applying them. Further, the students will be competent in applying research methods to conduct research as well as use research outcomes for making management decisions effectively based on research findings. A key output of the course is the ability to produce a quality research report as a result of conducting a research study in the selected theme related to entrepreneurship with the application of the valid and reliable methodology and make those research outcomes published orally and in the format of research papers.
This course will continue in the second semester of Year IV as ENT 4475: Research Study in Entrepreneurship II, focusing on finalizing the research report and publishing a paper based on the findings.
