Dear Bachelor of Commerce 3rd year students,
Those who are sitting for the COM 2344 Computer based accounting
subject are kindly requested to check the status and functionality of
the already installed Sage50 software by Peachtree in your personal
computers. This software can be downloaded to your computer
by accessing the link available on LMS. If you have any difficultly in
setting up the software to your computers please make sure to
inform me well before the examination date.

Inviting all Volunteers, Change-makers, Community Developers & Young People to become one of the Youth Speakers and be a part of the UNESCO New Delhi Office iTAGe event an intergenerational dialogue between youth leaders & senior officials/ experts on the state of #PVE i.e. Prevention of Violent Extremism in South Asia. 

The qualitative insights from the youth responses in regard to their understanding, efforts & recommendations in preventing violence and building peaceful communities will also be added in the UNAOC & UNESCO MGIEP #YouthWagingPeace in South Asia Report 2021.

The Department of Commerce – FMSC would like to invite you for the guest lecture on ‘Importance of Logic and Structure in Writing’ to be held on June 7, 2021 from 9.00 a.m to 11.00 a.m via zoom platform. The guest speaker for this event is Ms. Ayoma Peiris, Associate Director, Acuity Knowledge Partners.

The main objective of this guest lecture is to enhance the undergraduate’s knowledge on the practical application of researching and writing knowledge in the corporate sector. Ms. Ayoma Peiris will be discussing the role of a research consultant/ research analyst, how to conduct a market analysis and make strong recommendations through data analysis.

First Year - Orientation Program – Department of Commerce on 29th April 2021

Dear First Year Students enrolled for the Bachelor of Commerce (Sp) Degree Program,

While we are warmly welcoming you to the Department of Commerce, I would like to inform you that the Department of Commerce is planning to conduct a First Year - Orientation Program – Department of Commerce on 29th April 2021 (Thursday) from 1pm to 2pm. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country this event will be held as an online session.

At this event, the academic staff members of the Department of Commerce will address the gathering and give you some important advices to continue and successfully complete your four-year Bachelor of Commerce (Special) degree program without any difficultly. At the end of the event, you can ask questions from the panel of lecturers. Your participation at this event is highly expected.
